Deezer power

Precious, precious... free music of the world unite!
My big brother told me about this website where you can listen to free alternative music online. C'mon, so many websites for that! Yet, this one is really a must. After the end of free Pandora and Last.fm there had to be a worthy heir. Some bands actually open their albums for the whole world to listen, you can also have you own pod of favorite, or search your music by the genre, and spoil youself with energetic- into- the- night- acid- parties. (kidding, I do that sometimes)

Errrm... While you're there, check THIS album. Fragile delicate eletronic somewhat gothic whispers into you ear while you fall asleep.

Ok so you also need an eye candy. Y'really can't help it can ya?!

Antony Micallef really lightened the artistic lightball in my mind, in fact, he painted blood and roses on it, made a huge critique about consumption culture and threw it in my face. Only then he hit the switch and the colorful lightball lightened my brain. Now I have a colorful brain. Thank you Antony.

GEREMY THE GOD GEDDES
Through my endless search of inspiration, I found Jeremy. All he needs is some oil and canvas to make magic and wonders in your mind until your imagination goes: wahhhhhhhhhhh!

While you stroll through the gallery I recommend you to listen to the album Scavengers by the glorious glorious Calla. The post-rockerst from new york.
Y'know that feeling when you listen to an album and you just don't feel that you are listening to anything, beacause it's flow is unexplainable. it's quite and slow and dark, in fack so dark that it gets under your skin .

hugz and kisses!

Aloha world

Welcome to The Bittersweet Apple.
I've had a lot of thoughts about starting a blog, it comes from my personal love for easthetics, litrature, music, history and the mystirious forests my mind seem to wonder to.
The Lady of Shalott, 1888 by the wonderful John Wiliam Waterhouse.
Taken from THIS website.
The fairytale-story of The Lady of Shalott is about a girl who lived by the river nearby the castle Camelot (yes, Camelot, not Spamalot). This lovely lady lived in a grey four walled tower, and therought the window she could see the people passing by on their way to the castle. However, on day she saw knight Lancelot riding through the beautiful green field and you could guess what happened next.
The art piece was inspired by the tragic poem 'The Lady of Shalott', surprisingly, by Alfred Tennyson. You can red the poem HERE.
